Year 2000 Compliance Statement

Definition of 'Year 2000 Compliance':

An Interface Consultants' product will be deemed to be Year 2000 Compliant if, when used with Year 2000 Compliant hardware and operating systems, the product will, without effect on performance or functionality:

  1. Correctly handle any value for the current date and will not cause any interruption in operation.
  2. Correctly handle date-based functionality for dates prior to, during and after the year 2000.
  3. Correctly handle date rollover from December 31, 1999 to January 1, 2000.
  4. Recognize Year 2000 as a leap year.
Product Compliance Statement:

The following Interface Consultants products do not contain any date or time dependencies in the software, firmware, or embedded chips that would be affected by the 'Year 2000 Bug'. These products have been tested to meet the compliance requirements above and are therefore 'Year 2000 Compliant':

The above products:
  1. Do not contain or use Time of Day Clock Circuitry.
  2. Do not contain or use Storage of Calendar Date Information or Date Calculation
There may be operating system dependencies over which we have no control, and these could indirectly affect the operation of the product. We therefore recommend checking with the operating system vendor and applying any upgrades or patches necessary to make the system "Year 2000 Safe".

The following links provide information and solutions for those wishing to verify or upgrade their operating system for Year 2000 compliance for the above products:

IBM AIX:

SGI IRIX: All new products developed by Interface Consultants will be 'Year 2000 Compliant' as defined above.

Operations Compliance Statement:

To ensure uninterrupted service to our customers, Interface Consultants has reviewed our business operations for 'Year 2000 Compliance'. Interface Consultants hereby assures our customers that:

  1. Interface Consultants is preparing to survive any problems associated with doing business without interruption up to, and beyond the year 2000.
  2. Interface Consultants will be able to provide our products without interruption up to, and beyond the year 2000.
  3. Interface Consultants will have no interruptions due to the year 2000 in our:
    1. Business systems:
        1. Purchase order entry process.
        2. Manufacturing production process.
        3. Delivery schedules.
        4. Accounts receivable cycle.
    2. Inventory Systems.
    3. Manufacturing Systems.
    4. Quality Systems.
    5. Database Systems.
    6. Electronic Commerce Systems.
    7. Suppliers - that they are ready to continue operation without interruption.
